This is a antique survey transit made by C.F. Richardson.of Athol,Massachusetts,U.S.A. Patent date of August 16, 1887. 8" tall 12" long base is 4" in diameter. Includes plumb bob. I don't know anything else about this item. I have tried to find out some more information but I have been unsuccessful. Looks like it can be mounted on a flat surface or a tripod of some sort.
An original watercolor by the late Mickey Hackett, A.S.A, . I purchased 8/24/1996 from her directly. Mickey was in who's who in American Art and who's who South and Southwest.
i have two ration books without stamps and one with the stamps still in it. thay are from 1941 for food, still in good condition. no rips or tears. in the condition from when they got then. it says - united states of america, wa ration book one in my dads name. what are they worth?
I have this Antique Record Cabinet that I recieved from a family member . I do know that it has been refinished on the outside , but the inside of the cabinet is original . I believe it is early 1900's , and it's very heavy and soild wood . Not sure the type of woods that it is made from. Could you please tell me any info on this record cabinet and it's value ?
