McCormick Platte Valley Whiskey Jug - Authentic??? Value???

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have a small Platte Valley Whiskey Jug, approx 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I don't have a camera to take a picture, but I can describe it and add a similar picture. The K in the McCormick at the top runs into the handle and there is no marking on the bottom as I have seen on others. It does have USA indented on the bottom, similar to how McCormick is on the top.  It still has the red seal on the top. It looks like the jugs in the pictures as far as the writing that's printed. I'm wondering if it is authentic or not, mostly since there is no marking on the bottom, the K runs into the handle, and I have never seen one this small. Thank you in advance!

Antique Desk

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I don't have much information on this desk, but I'm hoping somebody can help me. This was given to me several years ago by a friend, and all I was told was that it was an antique "worth something." I have pulled out all the drawers and looked everywhere for an identification mark and can find nothing. I am posting a picture as a last resort. The distinguishing characteristic of this desk is the wood cutouts. Please help! Thanks!
