Looking for answers as to what this glass container was made for. It is 5" tall and 4.75" in width. There is a small indistinguishable stamp in the center on the bottom.
I believe this is a Heisey jelly dish but there are no markings on it. I found one very similar online but with 4 feet and a handle but I'm not able to find anything on this one. I don't think it's that valuable now but I'd like to know if it's something I should hand down to my grandchildren for value in the future. Thank you!
hand painted in staffordshire, england
done a little bit of research and it seems to be 10-20 years old. excellent condition no marks or scratches, 3 inches wide and 4 inches tall. no broken pieces
Erotic Antique bronze sculpture of woman seated atop of wicker basket. 2 separate parts. If you flip the woman over, her whole lower half and intimate parts are exposed. Believed to be from late 19th century France. Size of sculpture is pictured and the 2 pieces together weigh 5.97 lbs.
1950's Lane Cedar Chest (purchased by my grandmother when engaged to my grandfather).
Style Number: 2913
Serial Number: 355240
(On one of your pages, someone said that serial number meant it was made on April 25, 1953 - and 1953 is the year she said she had purchased it.)
It's 70 years old. In quite good condition for a 70 year old piece of Lane furniture. Minimal stains on the top/lid and the front panel. The inside is essentially spotless almost. The felt on the little shelf when opened could use replacement, which is something I could easily handle. Otherwise, it's in pretty great shape.
Trying to find out what it's worth now, because I'd like to sell it. I've seen sites where this model and other similar ones from the 50's were listed between $400-$650, and don't seem to be in as good of a condition as mine is.
Please let me know an approximate amount that I could sell this for, as well as the best way/place to sell it an maximize profit.
Thank you.
