The set was given to my uncle who took it in for refinishing/refurbishing but it was never finished. The table is still taken apart, waiting to be re-finished and put back together. There are some tiny pieces of the detail work that have popped off since the refinishing process started. There's typical wear and tear as it was used all the time. The seats were hand embroidered by my great grandmother. I can't find any distiguishing markings to tell me who it was made by. I'd like to sell it. Hoping someone has the time and money to bring it back to it's glory. =)

I inherited this item from my mother and I'm interested in knowing the value.

On the plate the black background is not shiny, it  has a decorative border trimmed in gold. There are also hand painted gold flowers amoung pink roses with green leaves. On the box there is the same design, but the box has a lid and is footed.

I dont have any information on this buffet and hutch It was purchased with the house
