I don't know anything about this platter except that my Grandmother who was born in greeece and married someone born in greece, were given this item as a wedding present when they were marries, about 85 years ago. I think the platter is made from gold, silver, bronze and maybe copper. The "gold" part is very soft, and can be dented easily. There are no markings on the back of this platter to indicate who made it or where it came from. I am looking to get a vlue and possibly sell this item.
Ansonia brass clock.. glass painted front. I could not find any pictures of this painted glass on many of the samples out on the web.. Seems very much the same look and feel.. Anyone have an idea as to history and value? Winding mechanism is also still with the clock as are the weights.
All i know is that this piece was something i purchased and did not realize it was manufactured by Paine. Pictures below detail the woodworking of the item. It did not come with a porcelain pot. the chair is fully intact and in good structural condition. No water damage. Depending on value of piece, i might consider selling it.
Estee Lauder "Pig Heaven" and Estee Lauder Perfume Kitten Compacts. Still has the solid perfume in them. Does not come in the original packaging. Both in good condition, kept protected and sealed in plastic bags. I am asking $75.00 each for these collectors items only because they do not have the original packaging. I will consider a price reduction.
