Except for the carved wood instead of the standard black cast iron on the sides, it is a standard antique school desk, and seems to predate the patent and standardization by Anna Breadin in 1889. It is in quite good condition.
Zeiss Ikon camera advertising lithoprint. Artists name is Fred Schittler as signed. Other Fred Schittler prints are from the 1920s so I'm guessing this is from the same period. But I haven't seen this particular print anywhere.
This is a wonderfully made piece of furniture. Each side has 3 slats and there are 5 spindles in the back. It is a low to the ground piece of furniture. The metal pegs are made of ether stainless steel or aluminum. I have looked for hours online and cannot find another one of its kind, I may not be looking in the right places. Any information would be greatly appreciated! NOTE: I am in the middle of sanding the wretched green paint that someone covered it with, will be staining soon, as well as making a cushion.
These are beautiful glasses, with a heavy bottom. Dark smokey green, very seventies, very groovy glasses. I know that they are Libby glass, but I am not sure of the value, if someone could help me out I would appreciate it!!!
Found in barn, behind grandmother's home. Grandmother said she and her siblings helped her mother do the laundry with this piece! My grandmother would have been 112 years old today, had she lived.
