We bought this footstool at an estate sale for $5.00. Upon examination, we see that it seems to have the original wpholstery, in very good condition, and a linen piece under the top, secured by nails, which look to be quite old. The cast sides are secured with phillips machine screws, and one has been replaced. This is evident, due to it's excessive length, compared to the others. The seller was a 90 year old widow, and was not able to remember much about this stool.
