Wicker Children's Rocking Chair 1900

Category
Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

This was my grandmother's when she was a baby.  I would like to find out if I get the leg repaired would it cause problems to value .  It was also painted over - which is why I believe the wicker is in great condition.  the only thing wrong is the rocker.  I have the cushion.

Would someone educated in Antiques be able to restore the color without damage to the wicker, I do not know who made it, I only know they lived in South Philiadelphia, PA.  They have the affordability to buy nice things.  This has a lot of sentiment so either way I would like to find out about repairing it.

Majolica peacock

Category
Pottery
Condition
Excellent
Description

I got this peacock bowl at a thrift store for $6 but saw the same bowl for sale on ebay for about $200. The seller claims it is from around the 1920s (but did not know of any other details), which could make sense except most pieces from the 20s were marked. I have been doing a lot of research about majolica and have discovered that many pieces were not marked and that often means they were older. The interior is glazed and it does not look very modern to me, but I really have no experience and would not know what to look for. Does anyone recognize this piece or can anyone give me an approximate date or country of origin as well as value?
