This brooch was purchased in the 1950's in cairo. It came with a document that described the piece as 700 years old, from the Mamlouk period. The paperwoork says it's from the Nassar Bros:Jewelry and Antiiquities, Lic. Number 123.
My father found this hat in the Basement of an elderly woman in New Hampshire. He asked bout it and she gave it to him.It is in good condition with very little wear for a piece so old. It is a Beaver felt top hat that you might see on a gentleman in London in the late 1800's. On the inside it is printed. "Made by decree of King Louis IIX" and around the edge: London Hattiers 1822. I don't have a picture for now but hope he can send me one asap.
