I just got this peice and am not sure what it is made of, possibly ceramic/clay or pottery.

Has a few scratches on top.

Definitely a desk used for letter writing. On the back of the desk are the words
L.Hitchcock.Hitchcocksville.CONN.warranted. The N's in CONN are backwards.
The number 23 is on the back of the desk drawer

Possibly similar Louis XV or XVI style chairs. We believe it's European in design. Very few nicks and scratches on them.

Another item that was given to me by my Ex's mother. It has shelves on the inside. I am wanting to know the year, who it was made by and what it is worth.
