I found thid item in the rafters of the garage in a house I have purchased. Was hanging by the hanger wire on the back of piece. Looks in prestine condition. Would consider selling after I do some research to find out its worth.
This is a very beautiful light green jade horse statue. I have not been able to find one similar to it. The head is held high & the right front leg is bent at the knee while the left front leg is tucked under. The detail of the face is very acurate. The base, which is a dark wood stained cherry or mahogany, has indentions so that the statue sit firm in the base.
The wood is a dark mahogany and the cushion is a burgandy color. The light in the room doesn't do the color justice and the color is not faded at all. It has a matching pillow also. I don't know much more about this piece and would like to know the type of chair it is, time frame it was made and if it is worth any money.
The outside is silver and has quite a few scratches and a few small dings. Can be beautifully restored.Has sterling silver mouthpiece. It was found inside an old original king case. The Instrument does work.
Original box contains complete set of records. When inner box containing records, is removed from outer box, the front half of the box folds down, and exposes an index of all the individual piano pieces. Each record is contained in it's own folder.
