I adjusted the photo of signature to make it more readable. Signatue reads Leo Something (Labuh, Tabuh, Tabih, Labih, Maybe first letter is an F). See photos
I have been trying to identify the artists signature on the back of this piece for sometime. I would like to purchase more of their stuff. If anyone knows who this is please let me know. I believe this is a depiction of a Maori God, leading me to believe it may be a New Zealand piece.
Vintage 1994 Drexel Heritage ‘Signet’ Glass Top Dining Room or Occasional Table w/5 Arm Chairs
Drexel Heritage produced this 'Signet' Dining Room or Occasional Table Collection from 1992 until 1998. This set was purchased in 1994.
This Drexel Heritage Dining table has a round, hammered wrought iron table base (178-057), with decorative fret work and scrolls in a beautiful and classic leaf and vine pattern. It has a smooth-to-the-touch texture, and the Pewter finish is a gray-black color antiqued in soft warm dry brushing.
The Drexel Heritage wrought iron base is topped with a 50” round piece of ½” thick, beveled glass and stands 29” high.
This Drexel Heritage 'Signet' dining set has five Arm Chairs (178-058), also in the pewter finish: 21” wide x 24” deep x 40” high. The seat cushions are held in place with four screws, and it would be very easy to change the fabric on the cushions.
The wrought iron pieces are in mint condition, but the glass top has some scratches.
