Collection of eight blue opaline glass vases

Category
Glass
Condition
Excellent
Description

I'm wondering about the value of these blue glass vases. I believe they might be opaline, but I'm not certain. I also don't know how to determine the maker/brand. I'm wondering if these are mass-produced products or if these have some sort of historical significance and value.

Selmer Mark VI saxophone

Category
Music and Music Instruments
Condition
Good
Description

This is a saxophone purchased at a Wabash Ave. shop in Chicago at some point in the late 1960s or early 1970s. It's been played since then, and still sounds good and is in good shape. A friend of mine told me that Selmer Mark VI saxes are quite valuable and sought after. I was wondering if that's true, and if so, how much this sax might be worth.

Bird tapestry/textile from Trinidad & Tobago, 1967

Category
Vintage Textiles and Clothing
Condition
Excellent
Description

According to family lore, my grandmother bought this bird tapestry/textile in 1967 at a street market in Trinidad. She was there with my grandfather, who was a visiting Fulbright professor at the University of the West Indies, I believe in St. Augustine.

I don't know much else about this, other than it's been folded neatly in my mother's linen closet for most of the last 37 years. It's in excellent shape with no fraying. I was wondering if anyone knew what it's origin might be, and if it's indicative of any certain style of folk art in Trinidad & Tobago.

Croatian tablecloth from the island of Krk

Category
Vintage Textiles and Clothing
Condition
Excellent
Description

This Croatian tablecloth measures 5 feet by 7 feet. It's made of a linen material, but I'm not sure of the exact material or its origin. We believe it's from the island of Krk (pronounced Kirk), which is the island where my family is from.

Crouch & Fitzgerald steamer trunk

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Description

I bought this trunk at the Salvation Army for 50.00. The outside is pretty weathered.  The inside is in good shape with all of the original trays and straps. It looks like it ha been storing Christmas decorations in a barn. I bought it because my last name is Crouch. I'm wondering if I should take the canvas panels off and restore the wood underneath or leave as is. Would the value go up of down?
