Painting that I cant find the artist

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

"I bought this painting 8 years ago at a yard sale from a older man and my son wants to know more about it and who the artist is I tried to look it up and I have had no luck. The signature on it says ArLine 85. The only markings on the back is Fredrix 16
and archival reference saying (the artist quality canvas is protected against acidic deterioration. the raw fabric has been  treated to remove excess textiles sizing and other buffered sizing of neutral or slightly alkaline pH protects the canvas fibers from direct contact with the final priming The canvas is suitable for permanent painting in oils and acrylics)"

Excellent
Description

this item is for sale. it is a 4 piece relish tray with a wood stand on the bottom as you will see it is engraved maqde in the usa 300 s or 8 or B or all 3. this is in excellent condition with no chips. I'm thinking it is possibly california pottery. My mother had an aunt that lived out there and it may have been a wedding gift from her. but thats a long shot of a guess. I would like to know a little about this and its value.

Civil War bandana

Category
Vintage Textiles and Clothing
Condition
Fair
Description

This is a bandana from 1862.  It has the lyrics to THE BATTLE CRY OF FREEDOM song on it, with otherdesigns.  It is cloth, and was folded for some time.  There are 34 stars on the shields, leading me to think it was made in 1862, when there were 34 states.  That is also the year that song was written.  I like to think it is qite possible that a soldier had carried this kerchief on the battlefield.

ANIQUE WOOD CANTEEN

Category
Militaria
Condition
Good
Description

IM GUESSING ITS A MILITARY  WATER CANTEEN. STANDS 9 INCHES HIGH WITH STOPPER. IT IS WRAPPED WITH A MESH TYPE FABRIC AND PAINTED WHAT LOOKS TO BE OLIVE DRAB. I HAVE HAD IT FOR FIFTY YEARS.IT WAS FOUND IN AN APARTMENT WE MOVED INTO ABOUT 1969-70.  FROM WHAT I CAN SEE THE STOPPER IS HARD WOOD. THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF DAMAGE ON THE SIDE THAT LETS YOU SEE ITS COMPOSITION. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT HOW OLD IT IS,  WHO AND WHAT IT WAS MADE FOR AND VALUE. I DO NOT SEE ANY MAKER MARKS.
