Found this watch in a consignment shop, wound it once and it started ticking. I did some research and found out it is a model 1908 and is dated c. 1914.
The movement is 17 jewels and is adjusted for temperature. It is grade no. 635 with a 3/4 plate.
From a local estate, this is an antique Whittall "Bird of Paradise" Anglo-Persian Wilton Rug! This is a large 9' x 12' wool rug of high quality and was made in the first part of the 20th century by M.J. Whittall and Associates. This "Art Nouveau/Art Deco" design is the very popular and highly sought after "Bird of Paradise" pattern, which features flowing water motifs throughout the background of the field and willow style bonsai trees within the main border. This rug is in excellent original condition, colors are bright and design is sharp. The rug has a high even pile. This rug is 9 by 12 feet as stated on the partial label on the rug back. The label has the number 224337 on it also. This matches the mark on the opposite corner of the rug back which states 224337 and 8/18 beneath that. This rug is really magnificent with vibrant colors. I just would like to find out what the value of this rug really is, can someone help?
