I really don't know much about this item as I was drawn to it by its unique look and old charm. It is an old clay tile set in a cast iron holder. The scene on the tile appears to be a man feeding a child in a sumbraro... I'm guessing its a Mexican scene? Sorry, I don't know much about it. Any history on it would be greatly appreciated. The tile has an uneven back to it like it was made completely by hand and not in a mold.
Manufactured by " Peerless Check Protecting Co." Machine NO. 3165 and Patented on Nov. 28th, 1911. I'm looking for a value, approx how many of these might be out there. It's in great working condition and shape. I can not find anything on it anywhere. It does not write checks. It protects them. It is not a junior.
I don,t know much about these beautiful little snuff bottles. Hopefully someone can help me out. I believe two of them are inside painted. The other is carved out of something kinda heavy but I have no ideal what.
The item I have is a small silver teapot measuring approximately 7.5" long by 4.5" tall. It has a decorative design with what looks like a sun, flowers, vines, and four faces three of which look the same with one different face. The top is smooth and the handle looks like a braided design but not braided.
The marks indicate it's made by Meriden B Company and it's quadruple plated. The number below the 2 proof marks is 889. I haven't found anything online about it and I would like to know more information in general about it as well as the value.
