National Potteries Companies Character Shot Glasses made in Japan.  These were purchased at a yard sale.  The sailor just has Japan stamped at the bottom.  The man has the tag shown in the picture.  They appear to be the same design.  The person that sold me them thought that they may be from the 1920's.  I wonder if the characters depict a particular characters or are they unnamed characters?  I have a set of 2 of the sailor and set of 4 of the man.

We purchased this captains desk.  We would like to learn the period it was made and the value.  The drawers are doved tailed.  The bottom is glued and wedged.  The top is attached by slotted screws.  We believe it is made out of mahogany wood. The top of desk was leather.

I have a Pfaltzgraff piece that I picked up at an estate sale and have not been able to find anything like it. it looks to be some type of water jug. The only markings on it are on the bottom and only says "pfaltzgraff" and is very hard to see. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
