My sister got these as a donation for a sale and we would like to get an idea on the value? there is two sets, this one and a greenish colored set. This set has "Midwest of Cannon Falls" made in India band on one of the elephants legs.
Does anyone know anything about these? they are in a very old box, but look to be in really good shape! They are bright red with black numbered and the tusks are ivoryish colored.
When I bought the painting I got a good deal on it because it was covered in mold (which I was able to remove fairly easily with a Q-tip and a white vinegar solution so it's mostly gone.) There is also a small (2 inch) tear in the canvas on the bottom right side. It's signed Lee Reynolds on the front and there is a number 685 written on the back of the canvas. I love this painting, so any information that someone might have on it is just a bonus. Thanks!
I found this at a garage sale and fell in love with it. If it is not worth much, I will restore it and use it. I can't find anything about this on the internet. Please help.
A simple wooden rocking chair evidently produced by Nichols & Stone Co. of Gardner, Mass. It's old, but I don't know the provenance as I got it free through a friend's neighbor. I was going to sell it for $30 but some research hinted that it may be more valuable than that.
