I have a Strague butter churn with a patten date of Sept 25, 1874. It's in excellent condition, working and all original parts. All the wood is solid with no rot.
Small music box. gold in colour. Engraved with a harp, French horn, a string instrument and a couple of other instruments as well as flowers on the lid. When opened there is a mirror on the inside of th lid. To th left there is a door with "Elgin American made in USA PAT PEND" engraved on it. Small latch opens door when pressed. Inside there is a there is a powder puff that also says " Elgin American" underneath there is a small fabric powder screen and some powder reminents. Beside this door is a button but I am unsure of its purpose. To the right there is a wind up handle. This also does not work as it seems to be over wound.
The original vintage liquid blue beanie bear named Shakedown from the Grateful Dead band released in 08/31/78 is in good condition and no where to be found please help me find out what the shakedown bear is worth to a collector
The research that I have done on this says that it is a Laundry Bucket. It is in very good condition with little rust. The label on the front says Wheeling Corrugating Company Wheeling W.CA U.S.A 412. that label is orange. There is half a yellow label on it that says alloy and someting about longer life coating. The wheels on the top are wood. There is a foot petal that you push down and the wood dowels on the top squeeze together. There is writing on the yellow label that says in pencil 39.98. If someone could give me the estimated value of this, it would be great.
