This pole has been in a basement on display along with a Koken chair since the 1970's. Looking to find out a bit more about it and what it might possibly be worth. Pictures may be available at a later date. Please email with reply.
I bought these at a local antique shop and now am wondering if they are legitimate or not. They are kiln-fired and shiny and no wear is visible on the top. I'd never seen anything like it so I picked them up. They are two little black children on a pickle. That is the oddest thing! They aren't perfectly painted and there is wear on the bottom but no distinguishing marks, except for corks that plug the hole in the bottom. The corks do not look old. The bottom is unpainted, rough ceramic. I'm wondering if this is just a replica.
